Don't touch me booty!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!  Today's share is a project I made for a challenge at Pretty, Paper, Pretty, Ribbons.  Shiver me timbers is the challenge, so anything pirate themed.

I cut out the treasure chest in pink and attached it to the front of the bag.  To keep the bag closed, I attached a mini clothespin to the back of the octopus and clipped it to one side of the bag.  On the other side I made a tag using the print and cut feature of my silhouette cameo and clipped the tag with  a mini clothespin to the bag.

I thought it would be fun to be able to see whats inside the bag before opening it,  so using my silhouette I cut out the back of the treasure chest and glued some clear plastic to it , then traced the opening on to the bag and cut it out, lined up the openings, glued it on and "voila" you can see all the booty, without touching it.

I am working on another project, using the treasure chest file, not quite finished yet.  Be sure to stop by again, I will be posting it as soon as it's done.

Fall Colours

Hi Everyone!  I have a quick little project to share with you today.

I created this project for a fall colours challenge going on at Jaded Blossom.  The box is from the silhouette store, the paper is recollections, the stamp is from Jaded Blossom, of coarse, ribbon is from little scrap pieces and the fall stickers are from my stash.

Celebrate Autumn

Happy Saturday!  I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!  It is an absolutely beautiful fall day here, which has put me in the mood to create some fun fall projects.  Here's what I came up with...

Are these not the cutest, ever!  This svg file is actually a snowman, but I thought if I made it in orange paper and used scarecrow and jack-o-lantern faces, I could make it look like stacked pumpkins.   I think they turned out pretty cool, what do you think?

I used a PK stamp(scarecrow face) for the top pumpkin and glued two buttons (sunflowers) on the bottom pumpkin.  I wrapped some fibres around the pumpkins, then added a tag and bow.  The ribbon is from 3 girl jam and sentiment is from Pretty Cute Stamps "Happy Harvest" stamp set.

On this one I stamped both the top and bottom with a PK stamp (jack-o-lantern).  Used 3girl jam ribbon and sunflower button on the hat.  I also used a different sentiment from  the same Pretty Cute Stamp set "Happy Harvest".

Of coarse,  as with most of my projects, a treat is required.  These caramel centred Lindt Lindor chocolates are my favourite and perfect for these pumpkins!

Happy Saturday Everyone!  I have a project to share with you that I made for a challenge at Craftin Desert Divas.  The challenge is favourite colour combo.

The monster is from Too cute by Jessica,  the sentiment is from CDD stamp set Monster Mania.

Eye think you're monster-rific

Happy Friday, Everyone!  I've been busy in my craft room, playing with my new stamps from CDD. I am loving the Monster Mania stamp set.  Here's what I made.

I cut Mike Wazowski using my cricut expression and Disney Pixar cartridge and attached him to the front of the clear box.  I wrapped some tule around the box and attached the tag at the top.  I found these peanut butter filled chocolate eye balls, and thought they would be perfect for this project.

Monster High Soccer Ball

Hi Everyone!  Today I have a project to share with you that I made for my niece, Jasmine.  She is quite the little soccer player, scoring 6 goals at her last game.  She is also crazy about Monster High. She dresses head to toe in Monster High, YES! Even the socks are monster high!  So, I thought I would combine her two favourite things, and make her a monster high soccer ball.

The soccer ball is from svg cuts, fun and games file.  It was so fun and easy to put together.  The girly skull and monster high badge is confetti that I had in my stash.

To make this gift even better I filled with candy.  It is a pretty big box so I put some grass filler and top it off with some fruit chews, tootsie rolls.  Hope she likes it!
