Great Outdoors!

Hi fellow Crafters!  I have a fun little project to share, that I made for a challenge over at Die Cuttin' Diva's.  The theme this week is The Great Outdoors.

This little box is from Svg Cuts, Camp Firefly kit, the stamp is from the dollar section at Michaels.  I embossed the panels on the box with a wood embossing folder and added some yellow, red and orange bling to both side of the fire for some "glow".

A traditional s'mores wouldn't fit in box, but I found some popcorn s'mores that fit perfectly!

Nom, Nom, Nom!

Hi! I'm back with another project to share using my pretty cute stamps.  I am loving this "Jawsome" stamp set, and matching svg's from pretty paper pretty ribbons.

For the card, I used a circle flip it card  in dark blue then matted it with a summer word themed paper. I stamped the shark on white cardstock, cut it out, matted it with grey cardstock then centered it on the circle flip it.  I stamped "Today is going to be JAWSOME!!!" on the bottom right and added some black bling to the top right.  The "Happy Birthday" and "You Party Animal" are from the Big Hairy Hello stamp set.

On the opposite side of the flip it I stamped the shark head and "I hope your birthday doesn't BITE."

For the treat container I used a clear purse box, and tied thick blue and white twine around the handle.  Cut the shark out with my silhouette and attached it to one side of the box, then stamped and matted "You're Freakin' JAWSOME!!!" and attached it to the box.  I also stamped "nom, nom, nom!" to a circle tag and tied it to the handle.

I found these blue shark gummy candies at the store and thought they would be perfect foe this project.  I also added the BITE ME tag, attaching it to the handle with a mini brad.

Happy Alcoholidays

Happy Friday  Everyone!
Can't believe July is almost over!  So I thought I better make a Christmas in July project before month end.  The bottle tag and cocktails are from Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon.  The sentiment is a Jaded Blossom stamp.  The holly berries I had in my stash.

Doggy gift set

Svg cutting files has an "Anything Goes" challenge going on right now, so I decided to use my best buddy Bosse, as my inspiration.

I used the sitting German Shepard on the trapezoid box, glued a bone shaped button to a mini tag and attached it to the box. On the back of the box I stamped an inspirational doggie quote, inside is a collar and matching leash.

On the clear take out box I used the standing German Shepard, glued a button to a mini tag and attached to the box.  Inside I put some yummy heart shaped doggie treats. (Haven't tried them, but Bosse seems to really like them)

On the tube holder, I cut two of the flush puppies and attached them to the box.  I put two roles of doggie poop bags in a pretzel rod treat bag and tie it off with a "poop happens" tag that I made on my silhouette.

I think this would make a great gift set for someone who is adopting a new puppy.  Svg cutting files has so many different breeds to choose from, you can personalize it to match the recipient.

Berry Sweet

Hi! Happy Hump Day!  I'm back with another project to share with you.  YUMMY STRAWBERRIES!
These strawberries are from the silhouette store and are so fun and easy to put together. The berry basket is also from the silhouette store, and even easier to construct.

The strawberries were made with Bazzil basics dotted paper in pink and red.  I inked the edges of the leaves and curled each leaf for some added dimension, then stacked two together and used a button and some twine to close them up.

I finished off the project with Jaded Blossoms fruit candies stamp set.   I stamped a  bunch strawberries on white cardstock, heat embossed them with black embossing powder, then coloured them in.  I then used my circle punch and attached them to the centre of each strawberry. I stamped and heat embossed the berry sweet stamp with red embossing powder, circle punch it out and matted to a scallop circle.  Of coarse, before I closed up the strawberries, I added a handful of these mini fruit candies to each one.

Under The Sea

Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons has an awesome challenge going on right now called "Under the Sea".   For my project I decided to make a shadow box.  I started by embossing dark grey paper for the background. The porthole was cut using a lighter shade of grey paper, then inked with distressed ink. The boy is from Little swimmers cutting file, and his face is a sizzix rub on. The shark is from fishy friends cutting file and the smaller fish are from a sticker pack I had in my stash.  All items are on different size pop dots, for lots of dimension.

"Under the Sea"  was attached to the outside of the glass.  I filled the bottom of the shadow box with pebble chocolates to look like the ocean floor.  They sure are yummy!

It's your Birthday Yeti Again

I'm back  with a project I made for a couple of Birthday challenges going on right now.  I am loving the Big foot cutting file from PPPR. The sentiments are from pretty cute stamp set Big Hairy Hello, which coordinates perfectly with this cutting file.  I stamped "it's your birthday Yeti again" on a tag and attached it to the front of the tube holder, then tied a ribbon around the holder.  I cut big foot out and attached it to a tube of mini M&M's, then stamped "size does matter", circle punched it out and attached it to the top of the tube.

WISH BIG

Happy Saturday Everyone!

What's better than an icecream sundae in the middle of summer? A paper icecream sundae!  (Well, not really, but it is less calories!) I used my cricut expression and the sweet treats cartridge to create this treat box.  The sentiments are from CDD's "simply said" stamp set.  I wrapped pink and white twine around the icecream portion of the sundae an attached WISH BIG to it.  Then I made some chocolate covered pretzels,(so much for calorie free) put them in a bag and tied it with a Happy Birthday tag. They fit perfectly in this treat box.

Size Does Matter

My daughter Keeley and I, love going to Disneyworld( who doesn't, right).  We love all the parks, but my favourite has to be Animal Kingdom, which is also home to our favourite ride, Expedition Everest!  So needless to say when I saw the Big Foot cutting file at Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbons, I had to buy it, along with the matching stamp set "Big Hairy Hello" from Pretty Cute Stamps.

I do have some great pictures of that ride, and plan to do a layout with them, however today's project is of another one of Keeley's and my favourite things, BLUE SOUR BIG FOOT CANDY.  Yum! Yum!

I used the K-cup treat cutting file and added a circle cut out to the front( I wanted the candy to show through). I made the yeti blue and attached him with an action wobble to give him some movement (after all, nobody has been able to capture one yet).  I finished the project off with a tag, size DOES Matter.

Remember This

Happy Friday, Everyone!
I am sharing a project today that I made for a challenge over at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.  The  theme is the 80's.  Yes, I'm a victim of the 80's, big hair, Duran Duran, leg warmers, been there, done that!

Another thing I fell victim to in the 80's was the Rubik's cube !  So when I saw the puzzle cube gift box file, I decided, I was going to use it.  The only time my cube looked like my project was when I first received it.   I could not solve that thing to save my life!  Came close a few times, but that's it!

What goes better with a toy, you played with in the 80's?  The candy, you ate in the 80's!!!!
