60's Beach Cruiser!

Hey Everyone!
I'm here today with a quick little share I made for a challenge over at Die Cuttin' Divas.  The challenge is a Decade Inspiration challenge, so I decided to go with the 60's.

I absolutely love the old 1960's Volkswagen van, I picture myself cruising in one, surf board strapped to the roof, heading to the beach, rocking the tie die and saying stuff like"dude" and "man".  I think it would have been fun to be a young adult or teen growing up in the 60's.

This cool German bus is from SVG cuts Surf Shack svg kit.  I filled it with candy, but it is pretty big you can actually use it as a gift box for something bigger like a scarf or even a t-shirt(tie-died of coarse).

Here is what it looks like inside.

SWEET TREATS, Just for you

Hello and Happy Saturday!  Hope you are having a great weekend!

Today I am sharing a project I made for a challenge over at Craftin'DesertDivas.  It is a photo inspiration challenge.  I don't think I've ever done a photo inspiration challenge before, but here's my take on it.

I used PPPR's handled treat topper 2 file  and CDD's simply said stamp set to create this cupcake treat topper.  I love the colours for this challenge, they look so pretty together, don't you think?

Happy Fall Y'all

Hello!  Hope you are enjoying this hot weather we are having!  I know it's too early to start thinking about fall, but my pretty cute stamps arrived in the mail and I could not wait to start playing with them.

I created the shaker box on my silhouette cameo by cutting a square and a square frame , and used my paper trimmer and score board to make the easel card.  The scarecrow is a pppr cutting file, and I used a leaf border punch and some fall coloured scrap paper I had to make the leaves.

I stamped "Happy Fall Y'all" on green card stock and circle punched it out and attached it to the left corner the frame, then stamped "jump into fall" directly on the clear plastic, and positioned the scarecrow so that he appears to be jumping in the leaves.

I stamped "Celebrate Autumn" on some white cardstock and glued two sunflower buttons to either side.  For the inside message I stamped "Sending a Little Harvest Happiness" and the corn stalk beside it.

I also stamped the envelope with one of the scarecrow stamps and "HAY, there!", as well as three leave down the right hand side.(I know, overkill with the stamps, but I couldn't help myself)

Challenges:

Making a Splash!

Quick little share for you today. I used my We R memory keepers gift bag punch board to create this cool little gift bag.  The surfer girl is from svg cutting files.

You're One Smart Cookie!

Hi Everyone, Pretty Paper Pretty Ribbon has a new challenge going on right now, and I could not wait to participate.  This month's challenge is Smarty Pants, and here's my take on it.

I used the handled treat bag 2 file and the cookie and milk file to create this adorable treat topper.
I used brown card stock and chocolate chip pattern paper to make the topper, then I sized down the smart cookie file and matted it on a scalloped circle with a pop dot.  I created the tag using the print and cut feature on my silhouette cameo and tucked it underneath the cookie.

I cut the glasses and mouth from the same cookie file and attached the to the front of the bag.

Recycle Bear

Hi Everyone, Happy Friday! I have a quick little share for you today.
Kadoodlebug designs has a new challenge going on and I thought I would participate.  The challenge is anything goes, but not a card.  So I decided to make a recycling bin for old ink cartridges.  I have made this type of project before, and my friend really liked it and wanted me to make one for her.

This ones for you Christine, hope you like it!  I used an empty cashew container and the recycle bear kadoodlebug design file.  Put the bear on some pop dots, attached it to the front of the container. It was that easy!

Here's the one I made for myself back in April for a different challenge.
